Rhede – 50 years of town charter

In the summer of 2025, Rhede celebrates the 50th anniversary of its town charter. To mark the occasion, members of the Heimats- und Museumsverein, in collaboration with the town archives, have curated a photo exhibition showcasing Rhede’s rich history.
With over 400 images, the collection offers a vivid reflection on the town’s last five decades — from sports and cultural life to the rise of the textile industry and changes in everyday life
The exhibition is on view until December 21.
